Get LOST

LOST

In the fall of 2004 I was perusing the new television line up. I selected a few new show and set Tivo to record them. Two weeks passed and my Tivo was filling up. I briefly watched a couple of shows and promptly deleted them. Then I saw that I had two episodes of LOST. I actually wondered if I should invest the next two hours watching the show only to have to watch another that week. I watched the first episode. Twenty minutes in and I was hooked. I was so excited to watch the next episode. After watching the next episode I was hungry for more.

So it was. Wednesday nights were now king. When you have Tivo, usually you never watch a show live because you can fast forward through the commercials and power watch. (Hey, why spend an hour watching a show when you can watch it in forty-five minutes.) I watched LOST live because it was that good. It kept you on the edge of your seat.

Fast forward to the last episode of 2005. Wow, what a cliff hanger. That was it. I would now have to wait until Fall to watch what happens next. I watched the first episode of the first season and it was good. The next couple were good as well. It had me thinking to myself, was this it… had it jumped the shark on the last episode of the first season? I wasn’t sure yet.

After a few more episodes aired, what do the producers do next you ask. Well, they re-run the episodes that just ran. Huh?? I don’t get it. New episodes of LOST started to air after the reruns. A few more episodes in they pull the same stunt by re-running those episodes again. Okay, now I’m contemplating weather or not it jumped the shark at the end of season one. Then they show re-runs twice in a row. Now it’s been almost a two months since an original episode has run. I was all excited last week, after the new year, for new original episodes. BUZZER SOUND. Nope, a football game.

So now I’m asking myself “Why the hell do I watch this stupid show when it becomes this annoying!!” The producers need to “GET LOST”. I NEED to GET LOST… The WHOLE DAMN SHOW NEEDS TO GET LOST. I’m sick and tired of being a fan of a show which takes sooooo long to play out. That’s it, I’ve had it!

So what will I be doing next Wednesday night you ask? Yep, you guessed it… I’ll be glued to television watching a new episode of LOST. So my advice is… If you haven’t “GOTTEN LOST”… GET LOST now!
