Both the adult, and the next day sequels sound like excellent ideas, but there is only one man who could pull of a sequel like this. And sadly, John Hughes has died.

But I wanted to see “Ferris Bueller’s Next Day” – a sequel in the same setting one day later. Imagine him covering his tracks at school, Cameron escaping being grounded for life, and so on. Hughes could have pulled this one off better back then than any of today’s Batman/Transformers/XMen sequel-happy hacks.
